Grouping or Combinding parts for Quote
Grouped or combine parts is the practice of placing more than one part or element of an assembly into one STL file. When the parts are not touching, or combined with one another to quote engine will produce an inaccurate part price. These parts need to be placed in separate files in order for them to be properly quoted and built. Below is an example of two parts in an assembly that have been grouped together and uploaded for quote.
Group or combining parts will result in an invalid quote. Stereolithography.com will not honor this quote and will re-quote the job with separate STL files.
